Bohemian Color Infusion (on a budget) – From Concept to Reveal

Standard

I’m not sure how to do this whole pressing thing. However, anyone who read my post Manual Labor will be pleased to know that this is my new room. I even moved my meditation altar into the corner and it makes it that much more relaxing. I’m so happy. If you ever need an interior designer, Iris Interiors is the way to go. I can’t thank them enough.

    • Ahhhh. I know. I seriously cannot believe it’s mine every time I walk in. I had to wait until they were done for the “reveal.” It was like being on a tv show. Now I’m obsessed with keeping it clean and perfect. haha. Dead serious: Make my bed almost every day. But the bedroom is still in New Jersey. I’m jealous that you’re sleeping in Europe.

      • hey, don’t knock new jersey! i’ve long had aspirations of being from there. sadly, origin’s one of those things one cannot change.

      • I love New Jersey because my family is here. However, it would be nice to live in Europe for a year or so. I’ve never heard of anyone with aspirations of being from New Jersey. But I can adopt you as an official New Jerseyian. I heard the governor was enacting some adoption legislation.

    • Thanks me lady. I’m now lounging in my own little sanctuary. Could never have pulled this together on my own. The headboard is fancy. My grandparents bought it at least 50 years ago. I’m conflicted about it though. On the right hand, it’s gorgeous. On the left hand, what if the headboard was involved on the night my grandparents conceived my mom. I’m not sure if that really IS creepy or if it makes me creepy for thinking about it?

      • you know what? If that golden headboard had anything to do with your very existence on the planet, then you’ve gotta give it a little rub and a wink before dozing off at night. And, I’d love to get a looksie at your grandparents decor. Any chance you have a pic of that headboard in their room circa 1962?

    • Thanks so much! I love it too. I had no idea what a huge difference it was between me trying to throw something together and a professional doing it. You’re right, somehow it does still feel relaxing and soothing.
